Second year Game and Wildlife Conservation students have been trying out their chainsaw skills.
They have been carving different designs into logs for their display at this year’s Northern Shooting Show.
Will we see you there?
Have you ever seen a 34 year old British Champion Hippeastrum plant before?
This plant came from a bulb in 1984, which was gifted to our Horticulture department in 2003.
15 years at Newton Rigg and she’s still going strong! 🏵️
A first for our Beauty students as they headed to Valencia, Spain over the Easter break to learn from Spanish students and staff. 💅
All made a reality by the Everything is Possible organisation, the learners took part in a work placement in a Spanish salon, where they learnt Chinese Ghua Sha therapy treatment, Bamboo massage treatment and put on a make-up lesson. They even managed to find time for an afternoon at the beach!
