Sport and Outdoor Sport Level 2

Overview
The main qualification element achieved from this study programme will be a Level 2 in Bushcraft Studies. The Outdoor Adventure pathway offers the opportunity to develop skills in an outdoor environment including focusing on the skills required to lead activity sessions; involving planning, execution and reviewing. It paves the way for further study at Level 3 or employment within the sports industry.
Description
This Level 2 study programme gives learners the chance to seek progression to employment, further study or voluntary opportunities. The programme covers leadership skills, motivation, time management, team work and the chance to improve individual fitness.

Entry Requirements
Usually at least 4 GCSEs at grade E or above including Maths and English (new GCSE grading level 3) with Science desirable. Alternatively a suitable Level 1 vocational qualification with English and Maths at Level 1.
Further Study
After successful completion of this course you may be able to progress to the Level 3 courses Diploma in Sport (Outdoor Adventure), Uniformed Public Services or Sport (Development, Coaching and Fitness).
