City & Guilds NPTC Award in the Safe Use of Stump Grinders

Description

This course is designed for anyone wishing to learn how to use a stump grinder .

Course Content:

• Carry out daily and routine maintenance
• Operate the machine safely
• Replace cutters in accordance with the manufacturers instructions
• Prepare the machine for transportation

The  City & Guilds NPTC assessment is divided into 3 compulsory units:

• Prepare the stump grinder for operation
• Operate the stump grinder
• Maintain the stump grinder

Equipment required:

Overalls, safety footwear and if possible a helmet / ear protection and plastic screen visor.
