Women’s Hairdressing Level 3

Overview
If you have ambition, style and dedication to train as a professional hair stylist then with the help of Newton Rigg College you can go straight to the top with this high level qualification.
Description
Course themes include hairdressing consultation services, contemporary and advanced cutting techniques, creative hairdressing design skills, advanced colour placement and colour correction services, creative styling, finishing and dressing looks including bridal hair. Other modules may include human resource management, support customer service improvements and promotional activities.
It is advisable to arrange a work placement alongside your study of this course to support their employability skills.
Entry Requirements
Usually at least 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (new GCSE grading levels 4 to 9) to include any 2 from English, Maths and Science with at least a grade D in the remaining subject. Alternatively a suitable Level 2 vocational qualification (Merit or above) with English and Maths at Level 2
Further Study
Upon successful completion of this course students should progress into the industry.
