Advanced Apprenticeship Land-Based Service Engineering
This work-based route includes practising and demonstrating a range of advanced skills or specialising in either agricultural service engineering or professional ground care engineering.
This course includes on-the-job training at your place of work with some college-based study. Course themes include engines and components, hydraulic and electrical diagnostics, transmission systems, performing thermal joining and cutting processes. The Advanced Apprenticeship consists of the Work Based Diploma at Level 3 and involves higher level study and competence for people in roles of increased responsibility within the management of land-based engineering and related services. Opportunities exist to take additional specialist qualifications, but charges may apply to the student or employer.
Applicants are required to have a Level 2 Apprenticeship or considerable work experience in a relevant field.
Upon successful completion of this course students can go on to gain a position in the industry.
