- Understand relevant health and safety, legislation and industry good practice
- Understand how to carry out aerial cutting of trees with a chainsaw using free fall techniques
To undertake this unit candidates must have passed units 30, 31 & 38 (Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting, Award in Felling & Processing Trees up to 380mm and Award in Accessing a Tree Using a Rope & Harness and Award in Aerial Tree Rescue Operations).
