COST PER NIGHT FOR ONSITE ACCOMMODATION:

For students aged under 18 (they were under 18 on 31st August 2018), the cost is £32.00 per night, this is provided on a half board basis and complies with legal care standards to include catering (two meals a day).

For students aged over 18 (they were over 18 on the 31st August 2018), there is also the option for room only, the cost is £24.50. They can then purchase their meals from the canteen.

Please note:
Bookings for students under 18 require a physical signature - please print and sign your booking request confirmation email and either scan and email the signed document to accommodation@newtonrigg.ac.uk or post/deliver it to the accommodation office at college.

Non payment will result in future requests for accommodation being denied.

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE INFORMATION BELOW AND KEEP FOR YOUR RECORDS

• If the student arrives without a booking they may find accommodation is not available

• If the student lives on a college bus route they will not be offered accommodation

• Accommodation is offered to those students whose home address is beyond a reasonable daily commute from the college. By this we mean that your home address is at least 1 hour away

• If booked to arrive on Sunday the student must collect their key from the Duty Warden tel: number 07971 892692 between 6pm and 8pm (please note the canteen will NOT be open)

• The student must hand in their key to the Accommodation Office by 9.30am on the day of their departure

• The student is required to sign the terms and conditions of residence before taking up occupancy (first stay of the academic year only)

• Accommodation will be invoiced upon receipt of this booking form. You will be invoiced three times during the year: In September for all bookings September to December inclusive, in January for all bookings January – March inclusive, and in April for all bookings April – August inclusive. By signing the booking form the person named agrees to pay the full invoiced amount

It will be stored on paper and digitally on computer, so the College can process your enrolment and for various administrative purposes.
