Partnership working to successfully manage common land in the English uplands has taken a major step forward, following a meeting involving key organisations and attended by HRH The Prince of Wales.
On Thursday 10th May final year students from the Health and Social Care course at Newton Rigg helped out with gardening activities with the residents of Winters Park Care Home Penrith.
Trotters World of Animals and Newton Rigg College celebrated their first year of education and practical experience together with a final feedback trip to the park.
