How we work
The National Centre for the Uplands is located at Newton Rigg College with Low Beckside Farm at its heart. Our activities can be divided into two equally important threads;
• supporting the education and training of our students, apprentices and local farming communities
• working with a wide range or organisations across the country exploring and addressing the opportunities and challenges of land management in the uplands.
In early 2013 we will be issuing a call for partners who are interested in being part of this initiative - translating knowledge and research into action and best practice. In the meantime please download this overview of The National Centre for the Uplands
