North Yorkshire Fresh Start Uplands Academy

Following the successful pilot programme run by the National Centre for the Uplands at Newton Rigg College, Cumbria the unique course is being rolled out to North Yorkshire.  The new initiative is designed to bring new  blood into practical upland farming and other land based businesses in the uplands.  If you are interested in establishing a business in this area or are seeking the next step then this course is for you. 

The course will focus on the core business skills, knowledge and practical considerations that will help you to develop your ideas and reach your full potential.

11th February Evening  10 Negotiation Skills – overcoming hurdles


The course will use case studies, field visits and a range of speakers including farmers, lecturers, land agents, solicitors and agricultural consultants.
