Gamekeeping Bursary Winner - Kirstan Harpham

Date: 31st May 2017

Congratulations to Kirstan Harpham, a Newton Rigg Gamekeeping student on being awarded the Rufus Beldam Bursary from The National Gamekeepers’ Educational Trust.

Runner up in the ‘Young Face of Fieldsports’ Competition in 2015, Kirstan has been beating and picking up on local shoots since the age of 5. She was delighted to be announced as this year’s winner saying “winning this Bursary will allow me to complete as many courses as possible so that when I leave college and start work, I will be qualified to do more things”. She went on to say “ I would like to say thank you very much to the judges for choosing me as a winner and especially to the Rufus Beldam Bursary organisers for providing the funding.”
