Intermediate Apprenticeship Land-Based Engineering Operations

Overview

This work-based route includes practising and demonstrating a range of advanced skills or specialising in either agricultural service engineering or professional ground care engineering.

Description

This course includes on-the-job training at your place of work with some college-based study. Course content includes welding and fabrication, maintenance, service and repair of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics and breaking systems.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have an interest in agricultural engineering, work experience in a relevant field would be an advantage.

Further Study

Upon successful completion of this course students may go on to study at Level 3 in a relevant area or to work in a position in a relevant industry.
